MONACO CLOSING IN ON NEW SIGNING

Monaco have been linked with Bordeaux forward Francois Kamano according to reports from France. French tabloid L’Equipe, claims that Monaco are contemplating a move for the Guinea international.

It is understood the Principality outfit are preparing a bid within the region of £13.4 million for the forward.

Monaco have had a busy summer with the French side recently completing the transfer of Sevilla forward Wissam Ben Yedder.

It is understood that manager Leonardo Jardim wants to strengthen the team as they look to challenge PSG for the French League title.  Kamano is seen as a good fit for the club as he is young and could have a huge resale value in future.

Kamano signed for Bordeaux in 2016 and scored 13 goals in all competitions last season for the French side.

He had been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer but a move failed to materialize. Kamano is regarded as a pacy forward with physical attributes which makes him a handful for defenses.

If he makes the move he would be joining South African ace Lyle Forster and Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru as fellow Africans in the club.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are negotiating with Juventus regarding the transfer of Argentine forward Mauro Icardi.

The Argentine international has been linked to the Old Lady in the past few transfer windows but the Nerazzurri have refused to budge in the valuation of the player.

Inter Milan have already seen a £60 million bid refused by the Milan outfit as they continue to hold out for £90 million.  Icardi is currently out of favor at Inter Milan and the club are open to a bid for the controversial forward. It.

Icardi is considered one of the deadliest finishers in Europe but has endured a feisty relationship with the fans at Inter Milan.
